Future of the Raleigh Staffing Industry

03/8/2014 |

Wondering what the future for the U.S. job market is? Look no further than the Raleigh staffing industry.

In a recent forecast by the Staffing Industry Analysts’, the long range U.S. forcast includes the increased use of independent contractors and use of temporary workers until 2022.

The reasoning for this is because many people have been using subcontractors and temporary workers because, it’s much easier than using a full-time employee who they would have to pay benefits for. This also allows many subcontractors/temporary workers to work with various organizations at once without a lot of the structured hierarchy that comes with work.  The healthcare and construction fields in particular are expected to hurt the worst as this change over continues but many more fields will be impacted.

Looking for Raleigh Direct Hire, what does this mean?

Many people still in today’s job market are looking for full-time jobs, but the idea of having a full-time job might be becoming obsolete. Part time jobs and contract jobs are the future of the many industries and it might be important that people start to realize this as they make plans for retirement. This new wave is nothing to look down on though, there are many benefits of being part-time and contract. Many part-timers and contract workers don’t have to work with the same restrictions that a full time worker has and can often work on multiple projects within various organizations at once.
