Along with these new tools in hiring comes a data analysis that has never been available with the job market. This data  comes both as a positive and as negative in terms of scale for a person’s accomplishments. Nevertheless, those in favor of using these data analytic tools are firm in their ground by stating that not using data when available is a lost cause for hiring purposes.

One thing is for sure: there is a lack of efficiency in many hiring processes. Several believe that company leaders depend on unreliable “gut feelings” when hiring that have nothing to do with the potential a candidate possesses. The majority finds the current hiring system extensively flawed, thus the reason for the data analytics to help with hiring decisions.

Whether you are for using data analytics for staffing reasons or not, the combination of the two seems to give companies the best chance at finding lasting employees that can benefit their company. One without the other may be a way of the past.
